THE GREAT CHICAGO FIRE OF 2006

Here is a shot of the building fire as it is really starting to take off. Barb took this at the top of the Sears Tower in Chicago while I was hunting for a parking spot. This was particularly tough due to the roads being blocked due to the fire.

HERE WE ARE ON A TRIP TO CHICAGO

What a beautiful skyline Chicago offers. It was a great day weather wise which only added to this great picture. This was our second trip to Chicago. Both times we were fortunate to experience some interesting events. The first time they shut the down town area down for a mock disaster as we were there on 11 Sept 06. This trip a century old business building burnt to the ground causing us to have to find alternative routes to our dinner theater at Tommy Gunns in South Chicago.
